Big Island Pond July 9th , 2006 6am : A mad race to get everyone in and parked. By 6:35 am we were all in and waiting for just 1 or 2 boats. With 15 boats the parking lot was jammed but we all fit some how.
7am: Everyone waiting my call to start as we planned on a shotgun start. As I waved everyone took off with a roar of engines the shore line rocked ( and someone came out and complained and said we should go out pass the islands ).
11am: Getting ready for weigh in I heard a lot of joking around and saw a lot of happy faces, We also heard a few that so and so had a big bass and then so and so said no he has a big bass but only 1 angler came up with a bass over 3 pounds , Jason a new member had the Lunker of the day with a Large Mouth weighing in at 3.06.
